LEAGUE FORMAT
• Regular Season: Each team will have 8 regular season games scheduled on Tuesday. Each team will have one bye.
• Playoffs: 8 team single-elimination playoff. Seeding determined by W-L record, head-to-head, point differential, and strength of schedule.
ROSTERS & PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
• 8-man roster
• Only players on the team's roster are eligible to participate in the league
• Sub pool is available for teams with less than 6 available players for a game. To use sub pool, captain must email commissioner the day before game with an official request.
GAME LENGTH & CLOCK RULES
• 20-minute halves, running clock.
– Clock stops under 1 minute in 1st half and under 2 minutes in second half.
– Clock will stop on all made buckets under 1 minute in the second half.
• 30 second shot clock; shot clock resets to 15 on any shot; on a foul or defensive violation, shot clock resets to 15 seconds if it was below 15 seconds, otherwise it remains at the time that the foul or violation occurred.
• 3 timeouts per game. Ball can advance on any timeout.
• Fouls: 5 fouls to foul out. 7 team fouls for bonus – 1 and 1 free throws. 10 fouls for double bonus.
• Jump ball = alternate possession.
OVERTIME
• First overtime period will be three minutes. The second overtime period will be 2 minutes. Every overtime period after that will be 1 minute.
• Each team will be given one timeout per overtime period.
PLAYER & SPECTATOR CONDUCT
• Technical Fouls – Any player receiving a technical foul gives the opposing team two free throws and possession of the ball.
• Any player receiving 2 technical fouls in the same game will be ejected for that game.
• Any player accumulating 3 technical fouls throughout the league may receive a one (1) game suspension, subject to the commissioner's discretion. Any player who accumulates 4 technical fouls throughout the league may be ejected from the league, up to the discretion of the commissioner.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: All players are expected to be respectful of the referees, Tournament staff, spectators, and opponents. If a referee or Tournament staff member is verbally threatened, physically threatened, or struck by a player or captain before, during or after a game, that individual may be suspended and/or permanently expelled from participation.
• Active participation in any type of disorderly conduct (fighting, excessive arguing, making threats of violence, etc.) will result in an automatic disqualification for the player and potentially the entire team.
PLAYOFF SEEDING
• Top 8 teams will make single elimination playoff
• Top 4 seeds will have their pick of opponent from the bottom 4 seed. This will continue each round until the final round
